Filliers distillery is situated in Bachte-Maria-Leerne, not far from the Belgian city of Ghent in East Flanders. As traditional producers of quality jenever, their family has been producing spirits for more than five generations! Fillers Dry Gin 28 was formulated in 1928 and uses 28 botanicals as well as the central juniper. The distillery was also the first in Belgium to mature whisky. Their double-still whisky is named Goldlys after the nearby River Lys, which in the days of yore would become golden due to an unusually high concentration of flax in the water.
